November is coming up and I’m going to try and complete NaNoWriMo for my blog!
I’m back! My return sees a new OWLS post on the dream of Kai Shimada from 3-gatsu no Lion.
Welcome to my second post for OWLS. This month the topic is “Bloodlines” and I looked at how Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid showed family can be more than the bloodlines we share.
It’s Week 5 and things are maybe on the up. We’re one week away from the half way point of these shows so expect things to be shaken up more next week!
Gamers! is a series that started out strongly and then began to let me down. I examine how the characters have changed themselves to be “better people”, how it could have handled these situations, and how the show can redeem itself.
Well, well, well. We’re on week 4 and this is post covers my Amazon Prime watch-list. This season it includes Dive!! – a series I’m enjoying more than I expected to – and Welcome to the Ballroom which has caused me a lot of dissatisfaction. Have a look at my reactions for this week’s Dive and episodes 3-5 of Ballroom
Another week of absolutely amazing reading (and watching)! OWLS have a really strong message with the posts mentioned in this week and I came across two posts from my reading that I wanted to share with you all too. Have a look and, as always, share if you have anything you want to showcase too!
I have no idea what’s happening to the series I watch. Almost every one of them has took a turn for the worse. This post looks at the two gems Sakura Quest and Restaurant to Another World. I also have a mini rant on the direction Gamers! took.
Welcome to the Ballroom is the show I was most hyped for this season. After the first episode I was head over heels for it. Then it went downhill when it began to showcase its female characters in a questionable light.
This week we have posts relating to Welcome to the Ballroom, anime for newcomers , and OWLS posts following the brief for this month’s “Mirrors”. Be sure to stop by and see if you missed anything!
It’s time for week 3! Welcome to the Ballroom was a bit of a disappointment after waiting all weekend for it, whereas Gamers! surprised me by the direction it took this week. Restaurant to Another World gave us more of the same, Sakura Quest upped its game and Dive!! is becoming predictable. All in all, a jam packed week of anime!
This month’s OWLS topic is “Mirrors”. I’m excited to bring you my first post for OWLS on The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It’s all about self-confidence this month and I hope you enjoy my take on it.
The week just gone gave us four new OWLS posts; be sure to catch up on those! I also managed to do a bit of reading and included two of those posts too. Enjoy!
Welcome to the Ballroom wasn’t out before this post, but Dive!! really stepped up this week. Gamers! aired and I was pleasantly surprised by it. Sakura Quest is feeling more organic in its story line development and Restaurant to Another World continues its enjoyable story.
No posts from My Reading this week but we’ve three wonderful OWLS posts for you to look at!
